Please don’t listen to him

Or anyone for that matter.

“Birds of a feather flock together” — English proverb

We all have influence coming at us from different angles. It’s the attempt to tell us about a new hair style, clothing in fashion, or who the best person is to share food recommendations.

It’s all there on the internet, TV, email, friends, twitter, snap stories… and the list goes on.

However, no one can do it for you.

What I mean by this is that most likely, you are looking for someone or something to help you.

Help you: become successful, look good at work, make a delicious smoothie.

And the chances are that people you are looking to and trust have made it there by not following someone else’s lead. Influence, yes. Lead, no.

In order to become the best at something you must work at it everyday.

This makes more sense when you explain meditation.

Once the clutter is out of your head, and the voices that tell you something is right or wrong are gone, you find clarity.

Your soul (or heart, mind, body, and brain) has more room to breathe.

You can feel, vibrate, sing, and sway.

Dancing in the fire reveals the hidden treasure inside the wood.

And no one would tell you what to do if you would do things for yourself.

So why wait any longer, tiptoeing around someone else’s definition of you?

Not only will you lose this opportunity that’s right in front of you, but you will stay among those who are too afraid to achieve their grace.

Why hold back, when all you want to do is let go?

It’s time to take off this camouflage of fitting in, and start showing how amazing you are.

Be mindful, go inward, and accept the character that you want to create.

Reveal the incredible you.

And fight for yourself, to shine among stars.

You have every right to.
